Powrnest LLC ("Powrnest," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Powrnest battery and device power tracking application and the powrnestapp.io website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you when you use the Service.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use the Service, you may provide:

• Device information (names, categories, battery life ratings, current battery percentages)
• Charge event logs (timestamps and notes)
• Account information (email address and password if you create an account)
• Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store your full credit card number)
• Support communications

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device type, operating system, and browser type (for compatibility)
• App version and crash/error reports (to fix bugs)
• General usage patterns such as which screens are visited (in aggregate only)
• IP address (automatically transmitted with web requests; not stored long-term)

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Process subscription payments and manage your account
• Send you service-related notifications (charge reminders, battery alerts) that you have opted into
• Respond to your support requests and communications
• Fix bugs, improve performance, and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations
• Protect the security and integrity of the Service

Powrnest uses only the following third-party services. We do not use any advertising or tracking platforms.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, TikTok Pixel, or any advertising tracking technology.

5.1 Cloud Storage

All device and battery data you enter is stored securely via Google Firebase with encryption at rest and in transit. Your data is synchronized across your devices when you are signed in.

5.2 Security Measures

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
• Secure payment processing via Stripe
• Firebase security rules-based access controls
• Regular security reviews

5.3 Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Payment records are retained as required for tax and legal compliance (typically 7 years). You can delete all your data at any time via Settings → Reset All Data in the app.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights regarding your personal information.

To exercise your California rights, email contact@powrnestapp.io with the subject line "California Privacy Request."

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent laws apply to our processing of your personal data.

Our legal bases for processing are: (a) contract performance; (b) legitimate interests; and (c) consent. You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data. To exercise your rights, contact contact@powrnestapp.io. We will respond within 30 days as required by law.

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@powrnestapp.io.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or via a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
