Terms of Service

Powrnest is a battery and device power tracking application developed and operated by Powrnest LLC, a California limited liability company. The Powrnest service includes the Powrnest mobile application (available as a Progressive Web Application and/or native mobile application), the website at powrnestapp.io, and all related features, content, and services.

By creating an account, installing the application, or otherwise accessing the Service, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 13 years of age
• Have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
• If using the Service on behalf of an organization, have authority to bind that organization to these Terms

2.1 Account Creation

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.2 Account Security

You agree to notify us immediately at contact@powrnestapp.io of any unauthorized use of your account.

2.3 Age Requirements

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has created an account, we will terminate that account and delete associated data.

3.1 Free Tier

Powrnest offers a free tier of the Service with no time limit. Free tier features are subject to change at our discretion with reasonable notice.

3.2 PowerPass Premium

Powrnest offers a premium subscription called PowerPass at $2.99/month or $19.99/year. All fees are stated in US dollars.

3.3 Billing & Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. By providing payment information, you authorize us (or our payment processor, currently Stripe) to charge the applicable subscription fee.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at contact@powrnestapp.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price change via email or in-app notification.

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial device battery tracking and management purposes.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Resell or sublicense the Service to third parties without our written consent
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service

5.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of all device data, charge logs, and personal information you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant Powrnest a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.2 Data Storage

Your data is stored securely via Google Firebase. You may delete your data at any time through the Settings screen in the application.

5.3 Data Accuracy

The Service relies on data you manually enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of the device information and battery data you input.

6.1 Powrnest IP

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by Powrnest LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, patent (USPTO Provisional Patent Application filed February 23, 2026, Docket No. POWRNEST-2026-001), and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Powrnest grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Service for your personal non-commercial use.

6.3 Feedback

If you submit feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant Powrnest a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and incorporate such feedback into the Service without compensation to you.

7.1 Service Provided As-Is

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7.2 Battery & Device Data Disclaimer

7.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POWRNEST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. POWRNEST'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO POWRNEST IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.

7.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Powrnest LLC, its members, officers, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at contact@powrnestapp.io.

9.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

9.2 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at contact@powrnestapp.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

9.3 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

9.4 Jurisdiction

For any matters not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or via a prominent notice in the application at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
